The homes in the village are made of stone, carefully stacked and fitted. When I asked how old the homes were, the answer came back: more than a year. Kathy had to ask the village elders who had lived in the homes, since keeping track of how old houses were was not part of the village tradition. We estimated the homes were about 75 years old since they were built 3 generations ago.
