Kirtipur is one of the Buddhist neighborhoods of Kathmandu valley. But here, too, like all of Nepal, Hindu and Buddhist sit side-by-side. Kathmandu is the most tolerant city I have ever visited! So many different faiths and lifestyles living together in relative tolerance.
