Night Market
The night market was beautiful! Merchants set up on
each side of the street and down the middle to form two
lanes of booths. Each merchant had about 15 feet of
shelf space. And the merchants were packed in solid for
about 4 blocks.
We walked along, looking, with Kao's help, for Mien
tribe work. We found several booths and were good
tourists, buying all we could carry. Of course, by this
time, I was already adjusting to the local currancy, and
would look for the best deals. But then I thought about
the price we were paying for hand made goods, I was
embarrased at how little we paid.
