Sv�stika

On the wall, a right facing sv�stika (Sanskrit), ancient Hindu symbol for evolution of the universe (Pravritti). Considered holy, it is an often-used Hindu symbol.

It was not until the swastika was used as a Nazi symbol in the 1930's and '40's that it gained such noteriety in western culture.
