Boudhanath
Kathy and I had lunch at the only restaurant I visited in
Nepal. She said the food was prepared carefully for
westerners, and she was right. I didn't get sick.
We sat looking out a second-story window towards the
great Boudhanath stupa. The stupa was surrounded by
shops selling Buddhist paraphernalia to a large
population of Buddhist tourists.
Most of the tourists were young men from
monastaries of the hills of Nepal. They were taking a
field trip visiting holy sites.
