The groups would face each other and take turns
singing at the top of their lungs.
It turned out, upon asking the hotel desk, that the
groups were new students. Each group belonged
to a different school at the local universities.
Today was part of their initiation. Each school
tried to out sing the other school; kind of dueling
choruses. It was fun to watch, though I felt sorry
for the small school of only 20 students.
