More Food
We were served quite a feast! Much of the food had
been prepared ahead of time. I stayed in the kitchen,
watching the elderly women cook and talk with each
other. One of the women sat with me and tried to
teach me some words in Russian.
When it came time to eat, I caused some
embarassment because I insisted on waiting to
eat after the cooks were served. I ended up
sitting outside the room and eating after everyone
else left, except for the cooks.
