Onions Drying
Braided onions were hanging to dry inside one of the
homes we visited. There were very few lights, and
even fewer electric appliances. I was told that
electric appliances were frowned upon by the
church.
And then I noticed that most houses had a TV in a
back room. And a surprising number of video cables
were left lying around. As I asked, I found that
almost many houses had digital camera, some had
video cameras, and computers! The priest's brother
even had a closet with a computer and a dial-up
Internet connection!
