Wat Ratchaburana Chedi

Wat Ratchaburana was constructed in the 15th century by King Borom Rachathirat II (1424-48).

It is hard to get a sense of the size of this "chedi", but if you look at the bottom you will see an entrance that is larger than a man.

I was surprised I had never been exposed to these ruins during my years of education in world history. I am reminded, again, how western my training has been.
