I am very sad to announce that on the night of Sunday, May 16th, 2004 there was a break-in at the North Light Books & Cafe. The burglars stole a pair of speakers, some cash, and 4 of the paintings in the show!
Although the paintings have very little monetary value, two of the stolen paintings have a great deal of sentimental value since they were already spoken for: "Lips", as a Valentine's Day present from me to my wife, and "Cupcakes", my dad's painting.
I have put out the word (with the help of North Light Books, KFTY Channel 50, and the Press Democrat). If you want to help, and are in the Santa Rosa / Cotati area, you can print and post a copy of the flier I am using to try to locate the paintings.
