Hotel Ukraina

Our hotel, the Ukraina, has often been used by foreigners visiting Moscow. Designed by Arkady Mordvinov and built between 1947-1953, it is one of the "Seven Sisters" (called "vysotki", "the summits" in Russian); seven unique Stalin period style skyscrapers in Moscow.

Ukraina is the second tallest of the "Seven Sisters" (653 feet, 34 stories), and is claimed to be Europe's tallest hotel. With a total of 1627 beds, it is certainly a behemoth.
