Laos

For the next segment of our journey, we got into a van with about 20 other people, many of them western tourists on their way to Muang Sing. Muang Sing is well known for its "eco-tourism"; river rafting, parks and forests. This shot is of a woman who had her Apple laptop with her, earplug listening to music. She and her two German friends reminded me of how I must stick out as a western tourist, though I don't like to believe such a thing.
