Smooth Ride
When we left Luang Nam Tha, the road got pretty
rough: lots of bouncing around in the back of the van!
At some point, the road suddenly improved to a
beautiful, newly asphalted, guttered highway.
When I asked why the road was so much bigger and
better, here, the answer came back, "the Chinese build
this road." No doubt the road, like the roads the
Chinese have built in Nepal, are well paved all the way
to China...
